The LCA study (Life Cycle Assessment) showed that, in terms of packaging, production and transport, solid cosmetics have less impact on the environment than the equivalent quantity of the traditional “liquid” version, with a reduction in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere of around 73%.

Geneva Green is the most innovative amenities collection having as its main focus to be compliant with the new European regulation about plastic and “circular economy”. As you know lately, the European Union policy has the purpose not to introduce new plastic into the environment and at the same time recycling the existing plastic materials to create new products.

Conscious that the consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about the environment, Gfl developed a new hotel collection in accordance with the EU regulation, with the focus of minimizing the impact of the plastic products on the environment.

PACKAGING –REDUCE THE WASTE OF PLASTIC MATERIAL. Bottles and caps are made with 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and decorated with labels that easily separate from the bottle during the recycling process. . Soap wrapping is made with 100% recyclable paper. Door hanger and presentation boxes are made with 80% recovered fibres and 20% pure ECF cellulose. THIS MEANS ZERO WASTE TO LANDFILL!

The collection includes bottles of cleansers specific for body and hair, various sizes of solid soaps, and wall dispensers. Completing the range are two presentation boxes and a special door hanger. Geneva Green are high quality cosmetics, formulated with plant extracts such as Aloe Vera and Black Tea, selected active ingredients such as shea butter and keratin for everyday wellbeing to rejuvenate and refresh. Cleansers and creams are characterized by fresh and clean fragrances inspired by nature which offer a pleasant daily ritual to guests.

All cosmetics are made in Italy, dermatologically tested, nickel tested <0,0001% and without petrolatum.
